This seminar will bring together world-leading experts in data privacy, population geography
and criminology to discuss the main barriers and facilitators for geographic data sharing,
including issues around data confidentiality and the need for Statistical Disclosure Control
assessments, the selection of adequate levels of geographic aggregation, and practicalities
around access to data and data management. This seminar is part of the Geoprivacy initiative,
a collaborative project between the University of Manchester, KTH Royal Institute of
Technology in Stockholm and Stockholm University.
