The Criminological Research Institute of Lower Saxony (KFN) is one of Europe’s leading criminological research institutes, conducting national and international interdisciplinary applied and basic research on a broad range of criminological topics. It is an independent research institute organized as a registered association and funded by the Lower Saxony Ministry of Science and Culture. The KFN aims to join the Leibniz Association in the coming years. For this reason, we are seeking a candidate to assume the directorship and take responsibility for the strategic development of the KFN. The successful candidate will be expected to be willing and able to facilitate the KFN’s transition into and establishment within the Leibniz Association. He or she will also be expected to collaborate with the University of Göttingen.
